The Yacht Chaser Cruising at 13 Knots

The Yacht Chaser Cruising at 13 Knots. The owner said she uses no fuel at that speed. He said she was superbly manoeuvrable at low speed and handles rough water beautifully. He said he just loves driving it. Mission accomplished.
Just a note. The prop slippage is a mere 5.8%. Incredibly efficient. The engine is over revving slightly so he might go up one inch of pitch on the prop which will potentially increase the top speed to 25 knots. Not bad for a 6 metre boat with a 30 horsepower motor.

Skiing behind the 14 foot Rêvo WASP Powercat

Twin 30 horsepower Mercury 2 stroke outboards. Pulls a fully grown man up on a single no problem at all and tracks true and hold its course.
I will be designing a ski boat/wake boat version for this hull form in 2022.

Rêvo WASP Powercat

Design by Jim Pauling Yacht Design, built by Rêvolution Yachts. This polyethylene 7.4 metre powercat was designed and built for an Australian client. It had to meet very strict draft requirements as the boat is moored up a tidal waterway so the draft could only be 300 mm. The boat met this brief perfectly. The owners first day boating was in 5 metre seas outside the Botany Bay heads. The boat is used on a daily basis and the owners love it. They use it for fishing and watersports as well as general family boating and it has overnight capabilities with a separate head.

10 metre going home

The boys decided to take the DIYNO 10 metre home. No worries. Just throw it on the back of the truck.

Yacht Chaser

My Yacht Chaser design 5 miles out onto Lake Michigan doing what it was designed to do, watching yacht racing without impacting on the boats.
5.8 metre hull, 30 horsepower motor 24 knots. Prop slip is a mere 5.8% showing just how efficient the boat is.
Built by Silver Fern Creations in Boyne City

My 601 polyethylene longboat on the water

https://rumble.com/vvcqms-rvo-601-non-reinforced-plastic-nrp-boat.html

This was my first poyethylene boat design. The design was originally done for a customer in Auckland who wanted it built in ply. Unfortunately to build in ply with fairing and painting made the boat too expensive but it worked out well as the prototype for plastic construction.
She is a lovely boat to be aboard and very capable and cost effective for sure.
